Pamela Kent (PhD) is a Professor of Accounting at Queensland University of Technology. She has won numerous awards for teaching and research and has a track record of high quality research published in internationally refereed journals. She is a member of CPA Australia, American Accounting Association, Accounting and Finance Association of Australia and New Zealand and European Accounting Association. She has extensive experience in course development and the accounting profession in many roles. Her contribution to the profession is indicated by being an advisory panel member for the Foundation CPA Australia Program and being a long-term member of the Education Advisory Committee for CPA Australia. Senior course development roles at the University of Queensland include Sub Dean of Commerce, Director of Diploma in Accounting and Director of the Master of Financial Management.
